The Digital Economy study program is focused on educating professionals who understand how technology is transforming the economy and business. The program combines fundamental knowledge in economics and information technology with modern digital technologies, enabling the development of competencies required for work in a rapidly growing digital environment. The curriculum is designed to integrate economics and information technologies, with an emphasis on applying digital solutions in both the private and public sectors.

Throughout the program, students develop analytical thinking and skills in interpreting financial and accounting data, using digital tools to make informed and timely business decisions. Students gain an understanding of financial technologies, the application of digital currencies and cryptocurrencies, modern payment systems, and decentralized technologies that are shaping the future of the economic system and the global market.

The emphasis is on the practical application of knowledge in the digitalization of business processes, automation of office operations, and implementation of information systems within organizations. Students learn to manage information efficiently, including document management and decision-support systems, and to apply advanced data analysis methods and artificial intelligence in a business context to create added value.

Special attention is given to the digital transformation of the public sector, the development of e-services, and the improvement of communication between institutions and citizens, providing students with a broader perspective on the role of technology in society.

The program is modern and practice-oriented, focusing on innovation and the development of concrete skills through projects, case studies, and work on real-world examples. The program is offered at two levels:

an undergraduate program lasting three years (academic title: Bachelor of Economics, univ. bacc. oec.)
a graduate program (Information Management) lasting two years (academic title: Master of Economics, univ. mag. oec.)

Upon completion, graduates are prepared to work in the fields of digital finance and accounting, the FinTech industry, data analytics, information systems management, and digital transformation of businesses and the public sector, becoming key contributors to the development of the digital economy.
