The quality assurance and management system of the Faculty of Economics and Tourism, FET'Q, combines the faculty’s acronym with the letter Q, which refers to quality (Quality), but also to intelligence (IQ, Intelligence Quotient), as the ability to absorb and adapt, that is, to learn, improve, and advance.
The purpose and main objective of quality standards and the establishment of a quality management system is continuous improvement. Continuous improvement of all processes and activities of FET is precisely the fundamental motivation behind the creation of FET'Q. For this purpose, a unified, integrated quality system has been defined in accordance with ESG standards (Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance in the European Higher Education Area) and ISO 9001:2015.
The organizational structure of FET'Q consists of the Dean’s Office, the Faculty Council, and the Quality Management Committee. The Dean’s Office and the Council adopt strategic objectives and are responsible for the overall quality of FET. The Dean of FET, as the head official, is responsible for the implementation of FET'Q. The Quality Management Committee is an advisory body to the Dean’s Office and organizes and conducts supervision over the implementation of the FET'Q policy.
