We are proud to announce that our report within the Euraxess initiative for the Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) has been officially accepted and approved! This is an exceptionally important milestone for our University, affirming our commitment to promoting research excellence and ensuring optimal working conditions for our researchers.
The process of achieving this positive assessment included months of preparation, data collection, and a series of consultations and feedback from our researchers and administrative staff. Our shared dedication and hard work have led to this achievement, and we are especially proud of it.
What does HRS4R mean for us?
The Human Resources Strategy for Researchers (HRS4R) is an initiative led by the European Commission to support institutions in establishing and implementing sustainable strategies for the recruitment and development of researchers. This designation, known as "HR Excellence in Research," recognizes institutions that uphold high standards in areas such as recruitment, mobility, and professional development for researchers.
With the acceptance of our report, the Juraj Dobrila University of Pula joins institutions that systematically improve the working environment for researchers in alignment with the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers. These achievements testify to our ongoing efforts to contribute to building the European research space and to maintain a high level of quality in all aspects of research work.
What does the future hold?
The approval of our report confirms the quality of our past efforts, but this is just the beginning. Ahead of us lies the further implementation of adopted strategies, monitoring progress, and actively adapting new practices that will provide better working conditions, equality, and a supportive environment for researchers. We will continue to work closely with all relevant stakeholders within and outside the University to enhance our community and support the innovative research that shapes our future.
