Two thousand years old Roman amphitheatre in Pula last Friday became the central place for almost 300 students and their guests. It is the first time that Roman battleground become a place where University of Pula graduates received their diplomas. It was spectacular to see thousands of people watching graduates who proudly take a certificate which officially approve they are “academic gladiators”.

“Students from Faculty of Economics and Tourism are now prepared to battle in business arena. They are well trained and the games can begin. As far as we know it is the first time that students were promoted in one Roman amphitheatre” said Dean Robert Zenzerović.

Pula is now proud not only by its’ cultural heritage but by University and young educated people.
