The university undergraduate study program Culture and Tourism provides an interdisciplinary academic foundation in culture and tourism, as well as basic practical competences for work in various fields that combine these two domains. The interdisciplinary content concept and approach reflect the widespread contemporary understanding of tourism development in a new era and the challenges of the sustainable valorization of cultural heritage for tourism purposes. The thematic core of this study program is the contemporary individual who wishes to enrich their holidays by getting to know people, culture, cultural and historical monuments, literature, economy, gastronomy, and other forms of identity of the place where they spend their vacation. The program is offered to both full-time and part-time students and may be enrolled in by candidates of different ages. Upon completion of the three-year study program (6 semesters, 180 ECTS credits), students obtain the title: University Bachelor (Baccalaureus) of Culture and Tourism.

Upon graduation, bachelors in Culture and Tourism may find employment in the public, private, and civil sectors at the local, regional, and national levels, in various institutions and organizations in culture and tourism, such as advisory and development tourism agencies, museums, destination management companies (DMCs), agencies, associations and foundations in culture, tourist boards or destination management organizations (DMOs), as well as in entry-level positions in modern hospitality requiring an interdisciplinary approach to tourism and in tourism intermediation. After completing the program, graduates may also become creative entrepreneurs in the culture and tourism sector or continue their education at the graduate level.
