Opening libraries (from April 27, 2020)

The University Library, based on a decision by the Government of the Republic of Croatia, will start working with users on April 28, 2020, according to a restricted system of work.

In accordance with the recommendations of the Croatian Institute of Public Health for the operation of libraries, the Library will continue to provide exclusively lending and return services and enroll new users. It will not be possible to work in the reading rooms until further notice. Library Hours are Monday to Friday from 8am to 3pm, and Saturday from 9am to 1pm

To ensure that the required spacing is maintained and to avoid contact with the risky, a maximum of 15 users will be able to reside at the Library at one time.

Users will need to follow the instructions of the competent authorities regarding enhanced hand hygiene, for which purpose disinfectants will be placed at the entrance and in other parts of all user areas.

As of April 27, 2020, the Central City Library will be open to work with users and will provide only the most basic library services on a custom-built basis. Central Library hours will be Monday through Friday, from  9 am to 12 pm and from 1 pm to 5 pm. On Saturday, the Library will be open from 9 am to 1 pm.

The Veruda Library, the Children's Library and the Reading Room of the Pensioners Club Pula remain closed for work with users until further notice.

In Vodnjan Library and Žminj Library you can borrow and return library material only with the pre-arranged time for downloading material.

At the same time, all users are asked to comply with all prescribed epidemiological measures and the Guidelines for Work with Users and Material at the City Library and Reading Room in Pula.
